Large Set of International Silver "Wedgwood" Sterling Silver Tableware



the pattern designed in 1923 by Alfred Grover Kintz (1885-1963), Meriden, Connecticut, including:
a teapot, h. 11", l. 10-3/4"; dia. 5-1/2";
a coffeepot, h. 11-3/4", l. 10-1/2", dia. 5-1/2";
a covered sugar bowl, h. 8", w. 6-3/4", dia. 4-1/2";
a cream jug, h. 6", l. 5-1/4", dia. 3-1/2";
a waste bowl, h. 4-1/4", dia. 4";
an oblong tray, 29" x 11-3/4";
a water pitcher, h. 10-1/2", l. 9-3/4", dia. 6-1/2";
a pair of candlesticks, 10", dia. 4-3/8";
a sandwich plate, dia. 10"; and
a pair of service plates, dia. 11-5/8";
variously monogrammed.
239.65 total t. oz. (excluding weighted candlesticks)

Provenance: Private collection, Houston, Texas.
Condition
There are a few light surface scratches to the sticks and vessels, the plates and platter with more notable scratches. Monogrammed. There is a dent, about 3/8" diameter, in the body of the ewer. There is a pinpoint dent in the waste bowl. The rim of one candlestick is misshapen/dented. That same stick is very slightly bent askew. Residual polish and dirt in low spots.
