Attributed to Fred Peshlakai - Navajo Turquoise and Silver Bracelet c. 1940s, 46g, 1.25" bandwidth, size 6.25 including 1" gap. Description: Many of Fred Peshlakai bracelets are unsigned but he has a very distinctive style of using top-grade stones and elaborate designs in wire. The Wheelwright Museum in Santa Fe has a large collection of Peshlakai's work including similar examples to this piece.Provenance: Acquired from an old family collection in Florida. The owner inherited the collection from her mother, aunt, and grandmother, who were all collectors and admirers of Native American antiques. Condition: Center stone has an area of fill approximately 0.5" x 0.125" on lower left as seen in photo.
