Automobile. Here's one Classic 1952 Ford Crestline 2-door coupe in classic 1960's custom modifications. The Crestline had a short life cycle in Ford's lineup. It was produced over just three years, 1952-1954. The 1952 Crestline production run built just over 175,000 cars. This car came with the original 239ci, 132hp Ford flathead. It's backed by the standard "three on the tree". 1952 was close to the last year for this legendary flathead engine in the Ford line. 1954 saw the introduction of their OHV power plant. This '52 was the pride & joy of a local Street Rod customizer. The signature on the glove box lid says it all, "Bein' Old Ain't All Bad." This "Old Yeller" recently turned 70! Complete with the fuzzy dice on the rear view mirror & the steering wheel spinner knob with matching knob on the shifter, this looks just like it should've looked in the 1960s. The 1952 had all those jet engine era design features, including jet airplane hood ornament and ornamental air intake side vents leading the rear wheel wells. This was supposed to look like it was going fast when it was standing still! All that chrome on the front end was toned back with a painted grill bar. Headlights & tail lights were toned back too.
