Qing Dynasty Fine Cast Copper Body Cloisonne Enamel Flower Goblet, a pair[Specifications] Height 40.5cm Width 21.5cm Weight about 4.3kg[Inscription] Made in Qianlong Period[Details]The goblet is square, with a long neck, bulging belly, outward-slanting square base, and halberds protruding from the four corners. The body is exposed inside the vessel, and the surface is covered with sky blue enamel glaze. The inner wall of the mouth is decorated with entangled passionflowers, the neck is decorated with double-layer patterns of dragons and lotus, the abdomen is decorated with a beast face on each of the four sides, the square base is decorated with Kuilong patterns, and the bottom is gilded.The shape of this goblet is an imitation of the shape of the bronze drinking vessel square goblet in the late Shang Dynasty. It has a regular shape, dignified and simple, and the filigree is neat and delicate. This kind of copper body cloisonné enamel flower goblet has evolved from a ritual vessel in sacrifice to a desk display in the palace of the Qing Dynasty.
