Original cloth gilt (soiling, spine joints chipped, spine rebacked, possibly with a later edition spine). Provenance: Henry Sanderson Furniss, 1st Baron Sanderson (1868-1939), British politician (ownership bookplate).
SECOND EDITION (statement erased from title-page). Eckel, p. 116; Gimbel A79; Smith II:4.
