Description
The markings on the top left side of the receiver indicate that this WWI British Webley Mark VI service revolver was issued in 1915. This gun is numbers matching (barrel, frame & cylinder) with all original British military proof marks throughout. It sports a shaved cylinder which means that it has been altered to accept 45 ACP cartridges. SPECS: 6" Slab-sided barrel, DA/SA trigger, black diamond checkered grips, left side break-action lever with notched sight, pinned front blade sight, lanyard ring and 6-shot cylinder. CONDITION: This revolver is in good overall condition with some wear, has a nice sharp/ clean bore and appears to be in good working order. HISTORY: The Webley Mk VI was the standard British service revolver during the First World War. It was one of a series of .455 inch caliber Webley revolvers which were the standard issue pistols of the British Army from 1887 onwards. They were robust and powerful weapons which gave excellent service until replaced by the handier Enfield No. 2 revolver in 1932. FREE SHIPPING & NO PROCESSING FEES.
