Der Erhabene sitzt in Meditationshaltung mit gekreuzten Beinen, die rechte Hand im Gestus der Erdberührung herabhängend, die linke ruhend in Dhyana-Mudra im Schoß. Prächtige flammenförmige Ushnisha, Mönchsgewand. Die Darstellung folgt stilistisch dem klassischen Sukhotai-Kanon des 14./15. Jahrhunderts. Gut erhalten mit homogener Patina. The Enlightened One sits in a meditative posture with crossed legs, his right hand hanging down in the gesture of touching the earth, his left hand resting in dhyana mudra in his lap. Magnificent flame-shaped ushnisha, monk's robe. The style of the depiction follows the classical Sukhotai canon of the 14th/15th century. Well preserved with a homogeneous patina. Few age-related abrasions.
