An early American sampler from 1831, by Catharine M Cox, aged 12 years. This sampler features a poem titled "The Fallen Rose", featuring a scroll style alphabet, a house, flowers, shapes, and a very beautiful border. This piece is in its original frame and glass, in great condition, and measures 17.25" tall X 17.75" across.
