Vintage Sterling Modernist Mexico Stud Dangle Earrings, Screwback, 1940's/MId-Century, Signed EF, Taxco. The stud has three raised silver bars with two recessed black burnished bars between. The stud is appx. 9.3mm by 8.7mm - slightly rectangular. The dangle is the same design but larger and with six raised bars and is appx. 20.2mm by 20.3mm. The stud mechanism is amrked Taxco Mexico .925 and initial EF in the cener. The dangle is marked Sterling Mexico and Hecho en Mexico as well as .925 with a circle that has a scripted JS inside of it. The screwback is missing on the top of the one screw but still has a screw - it is just missing the cap to the scerw. It does nto interfere with wear. These have some typical finish wear but are in good to very good condition with light oxidation which looks great as is. They test as sterling with an appx. weight of 11.99 grams.
