SEMI-AUTOMATIC PISTOL. Cal. 7.65mm. S# 305620. Bbl. 3 7/8". CZ27 semi-automatic pistol mfg. in Czechoslovakia while under German occupation during World War II. Left side of the slide is marked with CZ's "fnh" mfg. code, followed by "Pistole Modell 27 Kal. 7,65", with an eagle firing proof and the S# marked on the top. Right side of frame exhibits a faint Eagle/WaA76 proof, which is also present on the underside of the bbl. Slide exhibits a lightly polished blue finish, with the frame exhibiting a matte blue finish. Trigger, hammer, and grip screws are strawed, with the bbl. being polished in-the-white. Frame is mounted with a 1-piece "CZ" logo checkered brown synthetic wrap around grip. Fixed half-moon blade front sight, with dovetailed V-notch rear sight. All serialized parts are matching and include the frame and slide. MAGS: 1 blued 8-rd. CONDITION: metal components retain the majority of their original factory blue finishes, exhibiting some areas of wear and thinning that show through to gray patina overall. Front grip strap retains a mostly gray patina. Strawed parts exhibit some wear, with worn areas showing through to gray patina. Mirror bore, exhibiting some light pitting towards the muzzle, while retaining well defined rifling throughout. Grip shows some smoothing, as well as some superficial marks from handling and storage, but otherwise remains sturdy and serviceable. PROVENANCE: The Estate Collection of Charles Wagner.
