MADE WITH HENRY FRAME. Cal. 44. 10967. Interesting looking rifle with 24" round barrel with full length Henry style magazine, 2-line Henry's patent address not seen on any original rifle I am aware of. Standard late-style Henry butt plate with trap and mortise cut for cleaning rod, 900 yard Henry style sight with slide retaining screw. Most unusual configuration of forestock which projects into lower portion of frame. CONDITION: fine as created, retains most of its original blue finish on barrel, smooth brass frame with staining, lever & hammer retain much of their muted case colors, stocks retains most of its original high polished varnish, scattered scuffs and scratches. Mechanics are fine, crisp shiny rifled bore. (25-1674/JS). MODERN. $800-1,200.
