Canadian. 1864-1879. George Irwin Lazier 3 gal jug from Picton, Canada West. The style of decoration is quite unusual for Lazier and looks like a variant of the bowtie more commonly seen on earlier Skinner pieces. The outlining of the "3" measure is also different.

Very good. 4" heavy rub on shoulder rear. 2" hairline extending up from base to front right. Some uniform staining to bottom half, more prominent on back.
