Canadian. 1892-1907. A wash set pitcher and bowl from Samuel Brownscombe & John Horning's Owen Sound Pottery in Ontario. The colouration of the slip decoration on these sets varies, with this one having a distinct green tone.

Size
Ewer: 12" x 9" x 6.75" (base diameter). Basin: 4.5" x 13.5" (top diameter).

Condition
Near mint. Some minor roughness on the edge of the lip of the pitcher. Rings true. 2" and 1/4" chips on the underside edge of the bowl lip. Four thin flakes on rim inside edge. Bowl also rings true. Extraordinarily good condition for a set of this type.
