Canadian. 1855-1864. A pair of Samuel Skinner & Company crocks from Picton Canada West. Left is a 2 gal jug. Right is a 3 gal cream crock. Both have good renditions of the Skinner three-flower decoration.
Size
2 Gallon: 13.5" x 8.5" x 8.5". 3 Gallon: 11.25" x 10.25" x 11".
Condition
Jug is in very good condition. Small restoration to a lip chip on front. 6" hairline front left of decoration has been restored. Faint hairline cracking. Crock is in very good condition. Two 3" cracks left side extending down from rim and front centre. Flaking to left side handle. Hairline cracks, front right.
