
Canadian. 1880-1895. A collection of four crocks from James Sharp of Burks Falls, Ontario. The 2 and 3 gal butter crocks have floral decorations from the Welding Brantford Pottery. The large tomato jars are also likely Brantford wares.
Size
James Sharp: 10.75" x 10.5" x 10.5". 2 Gallon: 9" x 9.5" x 10". 1/2 Gallon: 8.5" x 5.25" x 5.25" each.
Condition
3-gal cream crock is in good condition. Two 6" cracks front left. Potstones rear and on left handle. 1/4" hole drilled in base. 2 butter crock are in very good condition. Light stain. Minor spalling left side. Tomato jars are both very good. One has a potstone shoulder rear, and the other is near mint.
