Blue and White Octagonal Vase, 17cm in height, 8cm in length and 8cm in width, Produced by the Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln in the Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty, it was a porcelain furnishing vessel for the court. Jingdezhen kaolin porcelain body with "Sumali blue" as the blue and white pigment. The vase body is divided into upper and lower sections, the upper section is straight cylindrical decorated with interlocking branch flower patterns, flanked by beast ears; the lower section is octagonal square decorated with broken branch flower and fruit patterns, the foot decorated with banana leaf patterns, the blue and white color is bright with distinct layers. Yongle period of the Ming Dynasty (1403-1424). Yongle blue and white octagonal vases are extremely rare in existence, being a typical shape of early Ming Dynasty blue and white porcelain, with a market valuation of up to ten million yuan.
