Canadian. Wood. Convent step stool in pine with a shaped skirt and sides, all in old orange overpaint. The top step has two cubby holes for books, and the first step has a drawer below. Good condition overall; the drawer bottom is replaced, and a spur is broken and missing on the left side of the front skirt. Quebec, late 19th century. 16" x 16.75" x 9.5". Canadian.
