Dirty, yellowed varnish; frame rubbing, resulting in scattered paint losses along the outer edges; scattered craquelure, resulting in several tiny paint flakes scattered at the upper left corner, center right, center left and center; unable to detect restoration through the dulling varnish under UV light; foxing on the reverse; surface appears to be alligatoring in parts of the horse.
