
Made by the American Standard Tool Company successors to the Manhattan Firearms Company. These guns were made in Newark, New Jersey from 1868 to 1873 with total production of all models around 40,000. Gun has steel faceted, ribbed, tapered hinged barrel in .22 rimfire caliber with blade front sight and Maker's Address. Brass frame with 7 shot steel cylinder and steel protected thumb trigger with exposed single action hammer. Gun has rosewood two piece grips. CALIBER/GA: 22 Rimfire. S/N: 15678. FFL: Antique.
Condition
FAIR - steel parts fading to a gray patina and brass fading to a mellow gold. Traces of varnish on grips with old missing grip corner. Pitted bore with functioning but typical finicky mechanics and a large brush mark across frame from pin being replaced.
