This Type 99 rifle has the Naval Anchor with cherry blossom marking on the receiver. I has an inverted "V" front sight and flip up adjustable peep rear sight. The receiver shows no markings except for the anchor with cherry blossom and is missing the spring and follower for the internal magazine. The bolt release on the left is missing parts and moves freely. The stock is missing the butt plate and has markings on the right side. Although faded, it looks to be the markings that designate it as a training rifle and not for use with live rounds. Makes a great WW2 collector piece. LOP: 12 1/2". CALIBER/GA: 7.7x58 Arisaka. S/N: 81. FFL: C&R.
Condition
Poor - Rifle is missing parts and the bore is frosted with no visible rifling, likely removed for use for training. Needs cleaning. This is a great rifle for display or parts.
