
This K98 Mauser Rifle is marked "K98" and has an "8mm" import mark with the serial number on the receiver. These rifles were built post WW1 when Poland took over armories previously controlled by Germany. Many of these rifles would go to Spain during the Spanish Civil War. This particular rifle has no crest on the receiver. It has an inverted V front sight on a 24 1/2" barrel with adjustable rear sight. This rifle is fitted to have the rifle sling on the bottom or the left side. The stock has no markings except for a small backwards "Z" carved into the top of the butt stock. Condition
Very Good - Bore is shiny with visible rifling. Mechanics are good and stock has a few minor dings or scratches. Light oxidation on a few of the metal parts.
