
Manufactured by Sturm Ruger in coordination of Lyman to commemorate Lyman's Centennial. Ruger model no. 1 rifle features a 28" heavy blued barrel fitted with Unertl scope bases for the Lyman Century model scope, serial number 78-0521. Scope serial number matches the Lyman serial number on the bottom of the rifle. Falling block, single shot action with intricate floral scroll engraving on each side. Right side features the Lyman leaping buck in a circle stamped "LYMAN / 187-1978". Left side is stamped "LYMAN / 1878-1978 / CENTENNIAL / EDITION II". Tang mounted safety and serrated trigger. Fitted with a two-piece satin walnut stock with deep checkering on the pistol grip and Alex Henry forearm. Equipped with sling studs, factory black lined red rubber recoil pad and factory metal pistol grip cap with gold tone Ruger medallion.
