
Manufactured in 1944 by the John Inglis Co of Canada under FN Browning's patent. This Canadian made High Power was produced for a Chinese Nationalist contract during WWII era. Features a 4-5/8" barrel, with period correct rear tangent adjustable sight and blade front sight. Parkerized silver finish. The left side of the slide is marked "MK.I* / BROWNING FN 9MM HP / INGLIS CANADA". The left side of the slide, frame and barrel is stamped with the matching serial number and a British proof mark. The bottom of the grip is stamped with the importers mark "KFS A BHP / 7". Backstrap is grooved to fit a wooden holster stock much like the Mauser "Broom handles" per request by the Chinese. Includes a 13 round magazine and fitted with a lanyard ring and factory it checkered synthetic grip panels. CALIBER/GA: 9mm. S/N: 2CH6118. FFL: C&R.
