Unknown Maker Bicycle Gun For Scaring Dogs

Description

Made probably in the late 19th Century during the bicycle craze for scaring off dogs while you were riding your bicycle. Gun is nickel plated single shot with exposed hammer and thumb trigger firing 22 caliber blank cartridges. Gun has two piece walnut "Bird's Head" grips with only markings a "5" on barrel and loading gate. CALIBER/GA: 22. S/N: 5. FFL: Antique.
