
This is an original WW1 era US Bolo knife made by Springfield Armory. The blade measures approximately 12" and is in excellent condition with some mild surface oxidation and small dings on the along the top edge. Base of the blade is US stamped with serial number 30295, while the other side is stamped 1912 with the flaming bomb ordnance and "SA" maker mark. Brass double hilt in the "s" pattern. Finger grooved wood handle with brass rivets, hand carved initials "RAR" in block letters on the right side. Includes original style leather and brass scabbard with "ROCK ISLAND ARSENAL 1912 T.C.C." stamp on the rear base of the leather. "F.H. 10. / 34." stamped above. Hand carved initials "AMR" on the front in block letters. Stitching is broken open at the tip. Overall a nice historic piece over 110 years old. S/N: 30295.
