
This lever action rifle was made by Winchester Repeating Arms in 1919 in New Haven, Conn. It is chambered in 44 WCF and stamped on the left side of the barrel. It features a blade style front sight and adjustable rear sight on a 20" barrel. The tube magazine runs the length of the barrel. The receiver is fitted with a right side loading gate and the left side has the saddle ring that has leather wrapped on the ring. The upper tang is engraved "Model 1892, Winchester". It is fitted with a walnut forearm and rear stock with metal butt plate. LOP: 12 3/4". CALIBER/GA: 44 WCF. S/N: 874798. FFL: C&R.
Condition
Good - Bore is shiny with visible rifling and the mechanics are good. The stock shows dings and scratches from use. Receiver finish has turned to a grey patina and has a scratch on the right side.
