
This Carcano Carbine rifle was made in Italy at the Terni Arsenal in 1917. It features a blade style front sight and adjustable rear notch sight. The cleaning rod is fitted into the stock below the 18 1/2" barrel. the receiver is stamped with the Terni Arsenal marking with "17" indicating 1917 production and "TERNI" on the top of the barrel and "Made in Italy" on the top of the receiver. The stock has a dark finish and has sling mounts below and on the left side of the stock and a steel butt plate. LOP: 12 3/4". CALIBER/GA: 6.5x52 Carcano. S/N: RK8908. FFL: C&R.
Condition
Good - Bore is frosted with visible rifling. Stock shows dings and scratches from wear and service. Oxidation and pitting is visible on the butt plate, trigger guard and other metal parts. Mechanics are good.
