This model 03-A3 was manufactured by Remington in 1942 dated by the serial number. It features a blade style front sight and an adjustable rear peep sight above the bolt. The barrel is marked "R A" above the Flaming Bomb with a "11-43" barrel date. Below the 24 1/4" barrel is the bayonet lug and the stock is fitted with the rifle sling mounts midway down the barrel and the rear of the stock. The receiver is marked "U.S. Remington Model 03-A3". The rear of the stock is fitted with a Jostam Mfg Anti-Flinch rubber recoil pad. Also included with this rifle is a "US 1908" marked bayonet. It measures 16" overall with an 11 1/2" blade. Condition
Very Good - Bore is shiny with visible rifling. Stock is in great shape except for missing chunks in wood in front of the rear barrel band and the rear of the stock shows work to the wood when fitted with the recoil pad. Stacking swivel is missing from front barrel band.
