Manufactured by Colt in the late 1870's, one of only about 5,500 produced. This 2nd model features a 2-1/4" barrel with the two line Colt address stamped on the top, "COLT NEW 38" etched on the left side. Rear integrated notch sight and half moon front sight. Nickel finish with the iconic New Line bullseye on the left side of the frame. Single action only with spur trigger and five round, long flute cylinder. Chambered for .38 Centerfire cartridges as indicated by the "C" stamped on the left side of the frame. Fitted with Rosewood grips. CALIBER/GA: 38 CF. S/N: 9588. FFL: Antique.
