
This Rolling Block rifle was made by Remington Arms Co. in Ilion, NY and were produced from 1867-1902. Caliber is unmarked and casting is recommended to determine the caliber. It features an inverted "V" front sight and an adjustable notch rear sight on a 30" barrel. It is fitted with a 4 piece hardwood stock, rolling block action with ejector, and metal butt plate at the rear of the stock. Sling mounts are fitted on the front barrel band and the middle of the rear stock. LOP: 13 1/4". S/N: n/a. FFL: Antique.
Condition
Fair - Bore is frosted with visible rifling. Wood show dings and dents from use and there is a crack on the left of the stock on the tang and one on the upper hand guard that runs from the sight to the breach. Metal has some areas of pitting and light oxidation. Will make a great display piece.
