
This model 68 rifle was made by Winchester Repeating Arms between 1934 and 1946 in New Haven, Conn. It features a beaded frond sight and adjustable rear peep sight on a 27" barrel. The barrel is stamped with the Winchester two line patent and trademark and reads " Model 68 - .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle". The bolt is fitted with a rear cocking knob with safety lever. The rifle is fitted to a hardwood stock with rear checkered butt plate with the Winchester logo. LOP: 13 1/2". CALIBER/GA: 22 S/L/LR. S/N: n/a. FFL: C&R.
Condition
Very Good - Bore is shiny with visible rifling. Mechanics are good and stock has a dings and scratches from use. The barrel has turned to a brown patina in some areas and the bolt has lost some of the stainless finish.
