Vintage Sterling Blessed Mother MOP Necklace With Marcasites, 16" 1940's-1950's. This has a curb link chain that is appx. 08 gr wide with a spring clasp where it is marked sterling. the chain has typical oxidaton that can be cleaned. The pendant is appx. 3/4" long and 1/2" wide with a raised mother-of-pearl base that the Blessed Mother oval medal is on. It is framed with marcasites and marcasitesa re in the pointed bail. It is also marked sterling. Both the chain and pendant have been tested and test as sterling with a weight of appx. 3.31 gr. The pendant is very good condition - the chain is good condition with the tarnish but can be made very good when cleaned. Neither piece is signed by the maker. (W93023.8 SS12803 J LD 1/24/23).
