Description

Here is a classic example of the work of Eddie Mandaggio (1927-2020) , a quacking or hissing duck. Well-painted and a generous size, Mandaggio shows a naive yet strong hand in this carving.

Condition

Good condition.l Paint retains strong colour. The uppermost tailfeather has been broken and reglued. There is a significant pressure split underneath spanning torso to tail with active paint flaking. Complete. Structurally sound.
