Description
Jun ware -This Jun ware bowl features an open mouth and a gently curved belly, characterized by a full, dignified form. The entire vessel is covered in a sky-blue glaze, its color reminiscent of a freshly washed clear sky—elegant and lustrous. The interior glaze appears slightly lighter, creating a subtle gradient with the sky-blue exterior. At the thinly glazed rim, the brownish clay body faintly reveals itself, while the unglazed ring foot exposes the firm, buff-colored clay. The center of the bowl’s base is slightly concave. With its soft glaze luster and well-proportioned shape, this piece masterfully combines the "sky after rain" glaze aesthetic of Jun ware with the minimalist elegance of Song Dynasty design, making it an exquisite object for scholarly appreciation.
