This reproduction of Stormland by Hans Hartung was originally created as an overrun of a design meant to be used as a book slipover. 
The lower portion off the poster remains blank, as the image only covers half of the space. 
This unusual design feature reflects its intended purpose for the slipover off book that was printed in 1985 by Maeght and sold at their Rue de Bar stores in Paris. 
Due to its limited production of both book and the related posters, only a few copies are know to exist, making them rare collector's items.
