
A pair of Victorian silver goblets Frederick Elkington, Birmingham 1876 The tapering bowls with 'onion' lobed lower body, engraved Latin inscription below the rim in Gothic style script 'VICTORIA DEI GRATIA BRITTANIA REGINA F.D. 1876' between two applied bands, engraved below crowned VR cypher on one side and inscribed opposite 'her Majesty the Queen's Prize' one engraved to 'Corporal W M Anderson, Shoeburyness 1876' and centred with number '6' within a shaped roundel; the other engraved to 'Bombardier A Anderson, Shoeburyness 1876' centred with number '7' within a shaped roundel, height 26.2cm, weight 25.1oz.
