A William IV silver centrepiece Joseph Angell I & John Angell I, London 1836 A circular wirework basket with scrolling foliate border, supported by a single foliate stem with stiff leaf junctions, surrounding the central stem: three figures in classical dress two maidens in flowing dresses and a man with cymbals held aloft his head wearing a lions pelt, to a fluted baluster base with applied leaf and fruiting grapevines, with an acanthus scrolling border terminating into three cast shell capped scrolling feet, height 65.6cm, weight 221oz.
