Footnotes: Fifinella (1913-1931) was a British Thoroughbred racehorse and broodmare renowned for her victories in the 1916 Epsom Derby and Oaks, run that year at Newmarket due to World War I restrictions. Fifinella was bred and owned by Sir Edward Hulton, a prominent British newspaper magnate and avid thoroughbred racing enthusiast. Sir Edward Hulton, 1st Baronet (3 March 1869 - 23 May 1925) was a British newspaper proprietor and thoroughbred racehorse owner. He had a son and a daughter by his second wife, Fanny Warris (1869-1940), whom he married in 1916.
