A mid-20th century West German folding travel alarm clock, circa 1955–1965, housed in its original leather-covered hinged case.
The clock features a white dial with navy chapter ring, applied brass dot hour markers, Roman XII, and dauphine hands, signed “H.C.” to the centre and “7 Jewels” to the lower dial.
The movement is a 7-jewel mechanical alarm calibre, typical of post-war German export production, with twin winders and alarm control to the rear.
The interior of the case retains its original “Made in Germany” liner, confirming post-1949 West German manufacture.
The leather case shows honest wear and patination, consistent with age and use, with scuffing, fading and edge wear.
The clock appears complete and intact.
The movement is unchecked and sold as found.
