They pray for household peace and prosperity as well as safety, auspiciousness and fulfilment of wishes amongst family members. The disciple Zhang Tai reverently hangs the plaque to cultivate his conduct, vowing over three years to uphold faith to be judged by the Divine Official. If the vow is broken as Wang Rong did, may his divided form fall into dark oblivion. The plaque was issued on 13th August in the 45th year of the Jiajing reign.
