
TWO LONGQUAN CELADON INCENSE BURNERS AND A BOTTLE VASE Ming Dynasty, 15th/16th century Comprising: a large shallow incense burner raised on three gently splayed feet, carved around the exterior with a trellis design below the waisted neck and flattened rim; a cylindrical incense burner resting on three cabriole legs, incised around the body with a similar trellis design; and a pear shaped bottle vase carved with upright lotus petals encircling the foot, below a band of stylised foliate motifs to the shoulder.
