
A POLYCHROME ENAMEL 'SWATOW STYLE' 'JINGDEZHEN' CHARGER 17th century Decorated in iron red and polychrome enamels with a central cusped panel enclosing a large basket containing leafy lotus stems, within geometric pattern panels, the wide rim with shaped cartouches alternately enclosing flower sprays and precious objects, the exterior with further decorative panels. 34.5cm (13 5/8in) diam.
