A 20th century miniature brass lantern clock with alarm The case surmounted by a central turned finial above a strapped bell, four finials and pierced frets. The 4-inch brass dial with silvered Roman chapter ring with cruciform half hour markers, the matted centre set with a silvered alarm disc engraved with Arabic numerals and fitted with a blued steel hand, raised on four turned feet. The side doors opening to reveal the timepiece movement with verge escapement and short bob pendulum, together with alarm train to the rear. Ticking and striking. 23cms (9ins) high.
