Six French white porcelain hafts and a large collection of French creamware or faience fine hafts, mid-18th century Of pistol grip form moulded with 'strung coin' designs, the porcelain hafts probably Saint Cloud, with later silver ferrules and mounts, 6-7.5cm long excluding mounts, with London hallmarks for Koester & Co, dated 1932, the creamware examples perhaps Pont-aux-Choux, comprising eight knives and seventeen forks with silver ferrules and later stainless steel mounts in various sizes, 8.5-9.5cm long excluding mounts, the blades with marks for James Dixon & Sons Ltd, Sheffield (31) Footnotes: Provenance Phillips, 21 June 1995, lots 252 (part) (porcelain hafts) and 253 (creamware hafts) For further information on this lot please visit Bonhams.com For further information about this lot please visit the lot listing
