An attractive Bow vase and cover, circa 1750 Of tapering oviform, the domed cover with pointed finial, decorated in a famille rose palette with large blooming peony branches issuing from hollow rockwork and extending almost to the full circumference of the vase, the shoulder and the flange of the cover with a finely executed lappet border, 19cm high (2) Footnotes: Provenance Joseph Handley Collection Anton Gabszewicz Collection The form and palette have much in common with the larger vase and cover painted with geese amongst rockwork and similar flowers, also from the Anton Gabszewicz Collection, sold by Bonhams on 19 November 2025, lot 176.
