A Bow teabowl and small bowl, circa 1750-54 Painted in blue with a sail boat between two islands densely populated by trees and a pavilion or hut, the teabowl 8cm diam, painter's mark in the form of an arrow, the bowl 10cm diam, painters numeral '6' or '9' (2) Footnotes: Provenance Watney Collection, Phillips, 1 November 2000, lot 829 (part) Anton Gabszewicz Collection Both pieces but particularly the bowl exhibit the thick 'lard-like' glaze found on Bow blue and white porcelains of the early 1750s.
