
Three Bow figures, circa 1760-75 Comprising a fugue emblematic of 'Autumn', modelled as a boy standing with hi arms raised, wearing a black hat, blue coat, floral waistcoat and striped breeches, on a scroll-edged base, 14cm high, incised repairer's mark 'AF', together with a Commedia dell'Arte figure of Pierrot and a similar figure of a Flower Girl, he modelled standing with his arms raised and she with a basket of flowers over her right arm, grasping her skirt in her left hand, both wearing yellow costumes and raised on a pierced and scrolled bases, branches to either side applied with colourful flowers and leaves, 17.5cm high, red anchor and dagger marks (3) Footnotes: Provenance With A J Filkins A figure of Pierrot in the Geoffrey Freeman Collection is illustrated by Anton Gabszewicz, Bow Porcelain (1980), p.136, no.224.
