A large Worcester tureen, cover and stand, circa 1770-75 Of quatrelobed form, the naturalistically modelled and coloured branch handles issuing oak leaves and acorns, painted with colourful mixed bouquets, smaller floral sprigs and a ladybird, gadrooned rims picked out in blue and gold, the cover with a gilt dentil border, the stand 27.5cm wide (3) Footnotes: The unusual fruiting oak terminals may be attributed to the modeller John Toulouse.
