A Worcester chocolate cup and saucer and two Caughley chocolate cups and saucers, circa 1770-90 Of fluted double-ogee shape with kicked handles and shaped rims, the double-handled cup and saucer and one cup and saucer richly decorated in bright Japan colours with the 'Dragons in Compartments' pattern, the other cup and saucer in the 'Scarlet and Gold Japan' pattern, saucers 14-15cm diam (6) Footnotes: Provenance Frank Wheeldon Collection, Bonhams, 23 January 2008, lot 147 (Scarlet and Gold Japan) The 'Dragons in Compartments' pattern is rare on Caughley.
