A good Worcester sauceboat, circa 1760 Of strap-fluted form, the handle with a high curled thumbrest, crisp floral moulding reserving panels painted with bright Meissen-style flowers, further flowers to the interior, a floral band adorning the inverted rim and stylised brown flowerheads punctuating the gadrooned foot, 19.5cm long Footnotes: Provenance With Roderick Jellicoe Gerald Moore Collection The moulding on the present lot is a rare variation, as is the 'kick' on the lower handle.
